What a great start to the year!
A few highlights from the first 3 weeks! :)

Our first day we read "The Kissing Hand".. Chester the Raccoon came out of the story and we went on a hunt around the school (to get familiar with the school) and to find Chester! Turns out he jumped back into the book... but left us a tasty treat! ;)

We read Mrs. Wishy Washy all week together, made retelling puppets, and ended the week by retelling the story together in a special way. We used animals (animal crackers) and had them jump, roll, paddle in the mud (chocolate pudding)! Fun, delicious, and a great retelling tool!

We have spent several days exploring the class manipulatives!

YELLOW DAY! Thank you to Mr., Mrs., and Cole Kuzma for showing our class how to squeeze lemons, add sugar, and SHAKE to make lemonade! We loved getting to shake and drink some delicious lemonade! Thank you!!!

More fun and updates to come!
