January Update!
  • Reading Stamina!
  • Snowman Fun Friday!
  • 100th Day of School Fun!

We are building our  Independent Reading Stamina. Ask your child what Stamina means and what it looks like in our classroom! We talk about how it means to work on something and never give up. Check us out..

Each student has their own special spot to read their stories. :)

Snowman Friday! Every so often we have "Fun Fridays" where we mix up the three kindergarten classes. Each teacher has a different activity and we have three rotations. The kiddos love the opportunity to spend time with their friends in other classrooms. In my classroom we made marshmallow snowmen... hopefully they made it home to you ;)! They sure enjoyed gluing the marshmallows on.. and eating a few!

Your child is 100 Days Smarter!!!! We celebrated the 100th day in MANY ways! We made a 100 day snack by counting out 10 of 10 different snacks, we counted to 100, drew our friends we have made in the past 100 days, drew a picture of ourselves when we are 100 years old, wrote about what we would buy with 100 pennies, played a "race to 100" math game, bingo dotted to 100 and much more!

Thanks for stopping by! Your children are such a joy to have in class! Thanks for all you do at home! :)
