Read-a-lot Day!

Today the students brought their 3 favorite books, a pillow, and a snack. They were so excited about this time. They kept asking when we were going to have quiet reading, so we had it earlier than planned because they were very pumped up about it. Here's a look..

Trip to the Akron Zoo! 

As you know, on Friday we went to the Akron Zoo. Thankfully the rain held off, and we got to see lots of animals with our friends. A BIG thank you to all of the parents that were able to chaperone and help! I really appreciate it! They had a blast...

Popcicles with our Reading Buds!

These pictures are from our last meeting with Mrs. Gigax's 4th grade class. Every Thursday this year we have spent 20 minutes reading stories. The K children would read a story or two, then their 4th grade partner would read a story or two to their K partner. The students really got to know each other and become friends. This was our end of the year celebration with our 4th grade friends!

Today we went to Wooster High School to swim and to Christmas Run Park for a field trip. Every child had a smile on their face. They were so EXCITED to be swimming. They splashed and played with their friends. We changed, packed up, and loaded to buses and headed to the park. We ate our lunches there and played for a while. Boy did they have fun! Here  is a look at our day..
